Lisa's Country Kitchen: Experience Authentic American Comfort Food in Jefferson City

Found another little gem off the beaten path. This one is in Jefferson City. Quaint little place with the country vibe. Food was great and the prices even better. They even sell breakfast all day. Will definitely be on our list for repeat visits.

We were out for a motorcycle ride to enjoy the fall foliage and happened upon Lisa's. What a great and eclectic place it is!! We shared a 1/2-lb. burger, and it was delicious and cooked to perfection. The waitress we had was super friendly as well. We will definitely be back, and we'll bring friends!

Mandy is s great server! She didn't understand the steak, I ordered. Got a different steak, that was amazing! So it was the right steak. Lisa the owner offered to bring a new one. They are both amazing! The food is great! The restaurant and staff makes you feel like family. Yes we will be back. Thanks again Lisa and Mandy! See ya'll soon.

While doing business in the area, I decided to check out this local establishment. I was not disappointed! The hostess seated me quickly and took my drink order. The menu was easy to read, and the daily specials were clearly displayed. I love down-home cooking, and this restaurant had plenty of my classic favorites to choose from. I placed my order, and I was enjoying a terrific home-cooked meal before long. The prices were very reasonable and the choices were endless. I did not leave hungry, and I definitely plan to return to this location in the future.

One of my favorite places to stop in Jefferson city. Affordable and Delicious with great service. This place can get quite busy, but after one visit you'll understand why. Lisa's Country Kitchen is a staple stand-out in East TN dining, and a must for anyone wanting a quality southern meal for a great price.

This is a wonderful locally owned restaurant. I saw a video on TikTok, so I took my family here for Saturday lunch. It was exactly what we wanted - great Southern Comfort food. The menu has a little bit of everything and breakfast served all day!

What a delightful little restaurant! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. Loved the cute decor, rustic furnishings, and the gathering at grandmas feeling the whole experience gave me! Put this one on your list!!

Sat Oct 11, 2024 I got prompt service. I had 2 eggs, toast, biscuit and gravy (no meat in gravy Yay!) and skillet potatoes which were real good. The biscuit was soft and fluffy. Only - was that I only got 1 coffee and a half (the waitress only did a 1/2 refill). But other than that the food was good. Therefore my stars go up to 5. ------------------------ Service was 3 star but food was 4 star. I was greeted almost right away and sat at a table. The waitress asked what to drink and I told her. She brought it and she would give me a few minutes to decide my order. What was supposed to be a few minutes was actually a 10 minute wait. She walked past me often but did eventually stop and take my order. At 5:10 I placed my order and asked for a refill. 12 minutes later and she still did not bring me a refill. Finally 12 minutes later I asked her to change table because it was getting cold where I was and looked at her straight in the eyes. That was the 3rd time. This time she brought it. She brought the food 20 minutes later. I'm glad the grilled chicken was cooked and soft. The little BBQ was good. The coleslaw was ok but needed some salt but otherwise good. The baked potato was well cooked and not overcooked. The sweet tea was pretty good. Overall the food was good. But the service was mediocre and could be improved. Oh wow! Just as I'm finishing eating the waitress comes to fill my glass without my asking her too. Must not have liked the intensity of my stare.
